Description:

Authentic antique Japanese kimono made of 100% black silk, once worn by Japanese samurai warriors under their armor "Yoroi." This type of kimono is no longer manufactured today and is becoming increasingly rare in Japan, unfortunately doomed to disappear.

• It is often purchased by foreign tourists visiting Japan.
• Japanese men wear it only on rare occasions, such as wedding ceremonies or other exceptional events.
• Due to its high cost, this new silk kimono is often replaced by polyester or tetron versions.

Usage:

In respect of martial tradition, in the manner of Japanese shihans, this kimono should be worn as a keikogi and in complement to the striped gray umanori hakama for practicing Iaido, Kenjutsu, and Batto jutsu (available in the store).

Care:

Dry clean only, silk requires special care!
