Japanese Zen & Mikkyō Buddhist Clothing & Products

The ZEN collection brings together authentic garments and accessories dedicated to the practice of Zen Buddhism, Mikkyō Shingon, and Shugendō. Each item is carefully selected and crafted in Japan to accompany meditation, rituals, and monastic life with elegance, simplicity, and deep respect for tradition.

What You Will Find

  • Koromo – traditional monk robes (法衣 / 衣) for daily practice and ceremonies.
  • Kesa – liturgical stoles and rakusu for ordination and Dharma transmission.
  • Samue – meditation and work garments, comfortable and breathable.
  • Zafu & Zafuton – meditation cushions and mats for stable zazen posture.
  • Juzu / Nenju – Buddhist prayer beads, made from natural materials in traditional style.
  • Sutras & Incense – sacred texts and offerings for chanting and purification.

Craftsmanship & Origin

Our pieces are handcrafted in Kyoto and the Kansai region by artisans specialized in monastic garments and temple textiles. Each item reflects the craftsmanship, durability, and simplicity that define the Zen path.

How to Choose

  • Koromo / Kesa: choose a loose fit to layer ceremonial garments comfortably.
  • Samue: select your regular size – straight cut with natural ease of movement.
  • Zafu: choose height according to your hip flexibility (standard 15–20 cm).

Materials & Care

Silk, cotton, hemp, and blended fibers are used depending on purpose (ceremonial or daily). Gentle care recommended: air out after practice, hand wash or delicate cycle, dry in the shade, and iron at low temperature to preserve the fabric’s longevity.

Our Commitment

We value authentic, functional, and spiritually meaningful items that support sincere practice — cultivating simplicity, inner discipline, and harmony between body, mind, and spirit.
