A bit of symbolism : in Japanese Buddhism the "Ken" saber or straight double-edged sword is the symbolic object of awakening. Used in the "Goma" fire ritual to destroy passions and is carried by the Buddhist deity " Fudo-Myoo "to overcome the ignorance of human beings

The consumable Oxalis "Katabami" plant with anti-inflammatory property is used in Japan to repel demons.

Description : Authentic antique Japanese kimono 100% black silk for men once worn by Japanese samurai warriors under their "Yoroi" armor

No longer manufactured nowadays, this type of kimono is becoming increasingly rare in Japan, and is unfortunately doomed to disappear!
it is most often bought by foreign tourists passing through Japan.
Japanese men wear it only on rare occasions, such as wedding ceremonies or other exceptional events.
As with the purchase of this new silk kimono being too expensive, it is most often bought or rented in polyester or tetron.

Use : in accordance with martial tradition, in the style of Japanese shihans, this kimono is to be worn as a keikogi and in addition to the gray striped Shima umanori hakama for the practice of Iaido, Kenjutsu, Batto jutsu
