and one of its 5 lakes, part of the tent-six views of mount fuji that inspired the master painters Hiroshige & Hokusai

Kamon: Kimono jacket adorned with 5 Family Coat of Arms Kamon Maruni ni Kenkatabami (the saber and Oxalis leaf)

A bit of symbolism: in Japanese Buddhism the "Ken" saber or straight double-edged sword is the symbol of awakening. Used in the "Goma" fire ritual to destroy the passions and is carried by the Buddhist deity " Fudo-Myoo" to overcome the ignorance of human beings

Oxalis plant "Katabami" consumable with anti-inflammatory property is used in Japan to repel demons.
